To provide efficient and responsive administration, scientific management and organization of teaching and research programs in the areas related to Transplantation and Allied sciences.

To provide a multidisciplinary environment for transplantation professionals to promote and unite basic and clinical research so as to find solutions to the field's most challenging problems, such as immune tolerance, the critically short supply of donor organs, safer immunosuppression, organ preservation, and the mechanisms of rejection.

To strive to be a Centre of excellence for providing medical care, educational and research facilities of high order in the existing super-specialties and such other super-specialties as may develop in future.

To establish and maintain Training or Educational Centre or Centres for training of Medical and Paramedical professionals in the area of Transplantation and Allied Sciences.

To create educational programs and curricula for the in-service and pre-service training of educators and trainers at the university, regional, national and international levels.

To promote research and innovation in transplantation sciences, organ preservation, regenerative medicine, and related fields.

To foster national and international collaborations with leading medical institutions, research bodies, and universities.

To maintain the highest standards of academic excellence by providing the necessary physical infrastructure and creating an intellectual environment conducive to free flow of ideas.

To impart education and promote advancement of knowledge and dissemination of the same through publications, seminars, symposia, workshops, and other such activities.

To provide for and promote research and development in transplantation sciences and its allied areas.
