About the Emblem
The emblem of Gujarat University of Transplantation Sciences embodies the essence of the institution's founding philosophy — giving new life through transplantation.
At the centre of the emblem is Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, seated with an open book — symbolizing knowledge, wisdom, and the pursuit of learning. The open book represents scholarship and academic excellence.
The lotus-petal border signifies purity of purpose and the flowering of medical science. The dark blue colour represents the depth of knowledge and the navy of medical tradition.

"New Life Through Transplantation"
This Sanskrit motto captures the transformative mission of GUTS — to advance transplantation sciences and give the gift of new life to patients suffering from organ failure.
